Iraq Extends Airspace Restrictions by 24 Hours
Iraq has extended its decision to keep its airspace closed to flights for an additional 24 hours due to escalating tensions in the Middle East.
In a statement, the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority announced that the country’s airspace will remain closed in light of the risks arising from the attacks launched by the United States and Israel against Iran.
According to the statement, the restriction will remain in effect until 12:00 on Monday. The decision was described as a precautionary measure aimed at maintaining flight safety, with authorities continuing to closely monitor developments.
